Devlog - June 12th 2023
Feature complete
Last week I finalized the features for the initial release of the asset. A few mentionable features I added were the integration of the asset into Unity’s preferences window. This allows certain preferences to be changed by the asset user (developer) to help with their preferred workflow. For example it allows developers to specify a default style profile that gets duplicated if they want to start the creation of a new menu. For that process I also did some more improvements to the generation of required files. The last feature I added was keyboard navigation within a menu. Besides those features it’s been pretty much all polish, organization, documentation and testing.
Notable tasks this week:
- Added Unity preferences integration
- Added keyboard navigation for menu
- Finalized features for initial release version
- More polish, project organization, documentation and testing
